RUFF North End Dog Group

September 2013

The Good Neighbor Recognition Award for September 2013 was presented to North End RUFF, Responsible Urbanites for Fido by the North End / Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA).

The monthly award is voted by NEWRA’s Executive Committee and given to local businesses, organizations and property owners that consistently contribute to keeping the North End / Waterfront clean.

Spring 2015 & Fall 2017

The Stanton Foundation granted RUFF and the City of Boston Parks and Recreation Department with substantial funding to support the repurposing of the flights in DeFilippo Park.

Winter 2016

Responsible Urbanites for Fido (RUFF) hosted a fun soiree to celebrate their $25,000 Grant from PetSafe to help build the permanent Dog Park in the Gassy (Defilippo Park). PetSafe was present at the event that was packed with dapper attire, while owners and pets enjoyed some human and doggie desserts, and a RUFF photo booth.
