For the love of dogs… We here in the North End find ourselves so lucky to have a strong dog community. Our friends and neighbors have supported us in bringing a one of a kind dog park to the neighborhood, which our membership and doggies just adore. RUFF is proud to announce our Season of Giving program will run again this year! With so much gratitude RUFF has chosen to give a little back, RUFF in partnership with PolkaDog Bakery, will be collecting donations for a very special organization that needs our support – this years organization is SNORT Rescue.

SNORT services all of the Northeast, their mission is to rescue brachycephalic dogs (short nosed) from shelter and owners that can no longer keep them and hopefully rehome them into loving homes. These breeds come with many challenges (as many of you know, so many in the North End!) and can be quite costly to care for. So often then cute puppies grow up and then are given up. SNORT specializes in understanding the breeds needs and works hard to find the right match for these pups in hopes to reduce the number of brachycephalic dogs that’s are euthanized unnecessarily. We are hoping our members and friends will come together this November and donate to animals in need. RUFF will have a donation box set up at PolkaDog Bakery (57 Salem Street) for donated items.
